This Privacy Policy explains how Kamal Event Décor (“Kamal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or book services. We operate in the United States and primarily serve New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

By using our site or sharing information with us, you consent to this Policy. If you are a client, this Policy works together with your Service Agreement/Invoice; if they conflict, the Service Agreement controls for that booking.

  • Communications with us (emails, WhatsApp messages, texts, phone notes).

  • Photo/video submissions you provide (e.g., inspiration images).

  • Testimonials and reviews (if you choose to give them).

  • Payment confirmations (we may record amount/date and method; we do not store full bank or card numbers).

Information collected automatically

  • Device/browser data, IP address, pages viewed, referring links, and general location, collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

  • Basic campaign/traffic analytics (e.g., Google Analytics or comparable tools).

Information from third parties

  • Social networks you use to interact with us (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp).

  • Venue or planner contacts who share logistics for coordination (load-in windows, access rules).

  • Public sources (e.g., business websites for corporate clients).

Sensitive data
We do not request or need health, biometric, or government-ID information. Please do not send it. If you share religious or cultural preferences voluntarily for design (e.g., Nikkah practices), we use that information solely to honor your request.

2) How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes.

  • Plan, design, deliver, and remove décor for your event.

  • Coordinate with venues and vendors on your behalf.

  • Send service, logistical, and account messages.

  • Personalize proposals and mood boards.

  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

  • Run basic analytics and measure marketing performance.

  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect our rights.

We may send occasional marketing emails about new sets or availability. You can opt out at any time (see §9).

Legal bases (for visitors from jurisdictions that require them): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., client service, security, analytics); consent (for optional marketing/cookies); compliance with legal obligations.

3) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use first-party and third-party cookies/pixels to:

  • keep the site functioning (e.g., session management),

  • understand site traffic and page performance, and

  • measure marketing.

You can manage cookies via your browser settings and, where available, the banner presented on first visit. Blocking some cookies may affect site performance. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals at this time.

4) When We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide and support our services:

  • Service providers/“processors” such as website hosting, email and form platforms, calendar/CRM tools, analytics, cloud storage, and document e-signature.

  • Communication platforms you choose to use, such as WhatsApp, SMS, or social media messaging.

  • Venues and event vendors (planners, photographers, caterers) for logistics, timing, access, and safety.

  • Payment platforms (e.g., bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo) to process your payment; we do not store full account details.

  • Legal/Compliance: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or clients.

We do not sell personal information. If we ever engage in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, client information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

5) Photography, Portfolio & Social Media

We may photograph or film our décor at events we produce. Images may incidentally include guests. We use such images for our portfolio, website, proposals, and social channels, consistent with our Terms & Conditions. If you prefer we not display identifiable images from your event, please tell us in writing before the event; we will honor reasonable requests (e.g., blur guests, avoid faces, or restrict posting).

If you submit a testimonial, we may display your name (e.g., “Nida – Mah-e-Nikah”) unless you ask to remain first-name only or anonymous.

6) Data Retention

  • Inquiry and booking records: typically retained 7 years for project history, accounting, and legal obligations.

  • Analytics data: retained according to the provider’s default settings.

  • Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe or your address bounces.

  • Photos/portfolio assets: retained indefinitely unless removal is requested and feasible.

We delete or de-identify data earlier if we determine it is no longer needed.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to our small-business operations (secure hosting, access controls, device encryption, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access/Update: You may request a copy of, or corrections to, your information.

  • Delete: You may request deletion, subject to lawful retention needs (e.g., invoices, dispute prevention).

  • Marketing Opt-Out: Click the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or contact us.

  • Cookies: Manage via your browser and banner.

  • California residents: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You may request access or deletion using the contact in §12. We will not discriminate for exercising rights.

  • EEA/UK/Swiss visitors: Where GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our primary processing occurs in the U.S.

We will verify reasonable requests and respond within applicable timelines.

9) Communications Preferences

By submitting a form or messaging us, you consent to be contacted by email, phone, or WhatsApp regarding your inquiry. You may opt out of promotional emails anytime; service and transactional messages (quotes, logistics) are required for your booking.

10) Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed to adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11) International Visitors
